Absolutely yes, you are welcome to come to the studio any time we are open! We would always recommend making an appointment just so that you don’t have to wait a long time (walk in clients are fitted in when we don’t already have a booking so on busy days there might be a long wait). If you are finding it difficult to find a time that is suitable for you on our booking system, just drop us an email - we’ll always do our best to fit you in.

If you are 18 and over:

• You can have any piercing we offer

• Just make sure you bring your photo ID with you to every appointment).

If you are 16 and over:

• You can have any piercing we offer other than nipples

• Just make sure you bring your photo ID with you to every appointment).

If you are 14 and over:

• You can have your ears (including cartilage) or nostrils pierced with your parent/guardian’s consent.

• Your parent/guardian will need to attend your appointment with you and you will both need to bring photo ID with you.

• If your parent/guardian has a different surname to you we will need to see proof that they can consent on your behalf i.e. a birth certificate, child benefit letter etc (we just need to know they are definitely responsible for you!)

If you are 10 and over:

• You can have your ear lobes pierced with your parent/guardian’s consent.

• Your parent/guardian will need to attend your appointment with you and you will both need to bring photo ID with you.

• If your parent/guardian has a different surname to you we will need to see proof that they can consent on your behalf i.e. a birth certificate, child benefit letter etc (we just need to know they are definitely responsible for you!)

Always a needle! We don’t have a piercing gun, have never used a piercing gun and wholeheartedly wish piercing guns did not exist! We use top quality, single use, sterile needles to ensure the best experience and the best chance of a beautiful, well healed piercing.

Yes! Our piercer has all of the required qualifications, plus many more, in order to be fully licensed by Colchester City Council.

In short, no. Whilst we follow all of the APP (Associaition of Professional Piercers) recommendations and guidelines, there are unfortunately some requirements of their registration process that we currently can’t reach due to the size constraints of the studio.

Rest assured, we operate and pierce to the highest standards and follow all guidelines and recommendations provided by APP, CIEH and UKHSA.
